Visiting Dave in Carlsbad

My brother Dave is a Ranger and travels to different National Parks to work for a season. He and his family have spent two seasons at the Carlsbad Caverns and Reagan and I finally went down to see them in March. I drove down with most of My family and we all stayed at a campground about a mile from Dave's house. We spent time swimming, eating, talking, playing, and touring the caverns. On Sunday Dave blessed my newest nephew Dallin and afterwards we had a photo shoot. The trip was so much fun and Reagan got to spend time with Danica, Whitney and Dallin which she rarely gets to do. The last night I was there most of my family was gone so Christina and I watched a movie together and I discovered that Hugh Jackman is my new celebrity crush or as I call him my Hottie, I guess Australia was pretty good too.

Reagan is turning out to be Daddy's Little Girl. Maybe it is because I am at work a lot at night and he gets to spend so much time with her. I just loved this picture and wanted to share it with all of you. This is a frequent occurrence at our house, Dad watching TV while Reagan falls asleep on his chest.

Reagan's 1st Birthday

Reagan turned 1 on March 3rd. It was so much fun. We had her party at Noah’s in Pleasant Grove. We decided to have a Farm Animal theme because Reagan absolutely loves animals. So she had a Barn Cake which Ma Ma Mahoney made and I Decorated. There was lots of food including some of Reagan’s favorites. We had Teriyaki Meatballs, Homemade Chicken nuggets, Roasted Sweet Potatoes, Salads, Chips & Queso, and Fruit. After everyone ate and Reagan got to eat her very own cake people could either just hang out in the main room or go upstairs and go ice skating. Everyone loved ice skating especially the kids. Even Reagan got to go out on the ice. Ryan spent more time speed sliding then skating , I think he was just showing off. At the end of the night Reagan opened some of her presents including a spinning musical zoo, some beautiful clothes (some from New York), books, and her very own 4-wheeler. At that point she started getting a little tired so we cleaned up and went home but all in all I would have to say it was a GREAT FIRST BIRTHDAY.

My First Blog Post

Hey Everyone! I decided to try and be part of this whole technology world, we will see how it goes. I will just give you a quick update on our family. Reagan just had her 1st birthday. YEAH! It was a lot of fun. I will tell you all about it in my next post. She isn't walking yet but she is close. She talks a little, her favorite work is Dog and she loves to moo like a cow. Ryan is working at Wilson Audio and looking into working on a couple of campaigns in the 2010 election. Herbie (our three year old Australian Cattle Dog) is the same as ever, smart and full of energy. We hope to start some agility training with him as soon as it gets warmer. I am working hard on my business Dream Dinners. It keeps us all busy and well fed. Well that is it for my first try, I learned how to do a slide show so I put on some of the awesome family pictures Kaitlyn took for us in December.
